Thanksgiving 2018, with double to be thankful for.
I always love this holiday and only wish it could linger longer
before all of the Christmas rush – but that is of course so fun too :)
We were with Chase’s family in Las Vegas and had a fun Thanksgiving day together.
Chase and I started it off with a little turkey trot run, then all of us went to the movies
(Reagan’s very first one at a theatre! The new Grinch). We went back to the condos
for the girls to nap and then drove out to a pretty area for dinner at The Americana
which Chase’s sister had found. It was all lovely and special and truly can’t begin to
count my many blessings. Feeling more and more grateful each year, and hope to
express and feel it all year round, giving back to others as a way to really show my
gratitude and serve. We were grateful to spend the holiday together with our little
family and extended Rigby family on a fun vacation. A few pictures from the day!
Happy little turkey on her first Thanksgiving!
^^ Getting ready for dinner after naps
Hair braided by aunt Rach for Thanksgiving! I really need to learn to do hair haha.
Especially when I realized last Thanksgiving her hair looked so cute because her other
aunt Mindy had done it on our Hawaii trip. At least she has aunts who can do it cute! :)
Off to dinner!
Pretty setting and pretty night.
Yummy set menu with two choices each, so good thing Chase was next to me
and willing to each order the different options so we could try everything! :)
Butternut soup + beet salad appetizers, and steak + turkey mains.
Everything was delicious and it was especially nice to have no dishes at the end ;)
So fun to have Thanksgiving dinner with cute cousins!
Thanks Blake and Shel for the nicest meal!
Finishing pumpkin pie with our girlies …and my sweater seemed only fitting for Thanksgiving :)
Christmas book and jammies with Papa Bear that night before bed!
Happy Thanksgiving and start of the holiday season!
