October life lately

October is the busiest month for us every year, and
also the most fun! We love to travel during this month
and I think it’s the best time of year to visit almost anywhere.
This month was no exception, and has found us on a few fun
trips with baby in between fall fun at home…football, fall food,
pumpkin patches, and soaking up every day of this month!
Cliché pumpkin patches + crunchy leaves pictures ^^
This is what a Target run in October looks like:
pumpkin cereal, fall decorations, and a new fall purse.
Darling pumpkin baking dishes at World Market ^^ Run, don’t walk!
Fall walks with baby girl ^^
Football Saturdays, watching our Utes play at Cal! ^^
Baby R did great, but it was so exhausting to take a baby to
a hot football game an hour away…the game was almost 5 hours
long and then we had a long drive home in traffic, so by the end
I had probably walked like 10 miles around the football stadium,
nursed at the stadium a few times, and wanted to pass out by the
end! Still worth it though, because we love our Utes and our football :)
Fun to go with Chase’s best friend Sam!
Pretty sunset after a day of football in Berkeley ^^
Chicago’s sidewalk pumpkin patch game is strong ^^
Homemade acai bowls thanks to Abby’s perfect recipe!
This girl made October a million times better this year.
^^ Can’t get enough.
Brynn’s cutest welcome sign for us in Chicago ^^
Speaking of my bestie Brynn, she has the CUTEST ever designs and
just came out with these food pun cards! They aren’t for sale yet, but
I’m trying to convince her to start a shop…who is with me?!?! For now,
you can find her on insta at @brynnfowlerdesigns! Cutest ever.
Weekly hiking of the Stanford Dish trail ^^
We had a lot of visitors this month! My brother Brady
was in town for business a few times, Sam came to town,
and Anna and Randy came to stay with us for a weekend!
I love having Reagan meet our nearest and dearest.
Currently so into making my own yummy salads, and this sweet
butternut coconut soup is what dreams are made of. Posting recipe soon!
More fall cooking = pumpkin chili + Bandera cornbread ^^
Cutest little flyer this month has had flights to Chicago,
Minneapolis, Richmond, and DC! She is a champ and
definitely earned those wings that the pilot gave her.
My plane supplies…Reagan’s baby book and my journal to write in
while she’s sleeping, and black leggings to hide spit up and spills!
^^ My little snapchat puppy, and my little cowgirl with that denim + bib :)
This little pumpkin hit 3 months this October!
My cute active mom had a bad bike fall this month and broke her
ankle in 2 places which required surgery. I wish she wasn’t all the
way in South Africa so that I could be there to take care of her!
Baby’s dates with dad…visiting him at work one night while I went on a run,
and staring at his food so intently while he eats…love these two together!
Butternut soup ingredients, and pumpkin pancakes…shaped like pumpkins too!
Currently putting pomegranates in just about everything…from
yogurt & granola to salsa! It’s the best recipe all from Trader Joe’s:
1 jar of tj’s corn chili salsa, 2 avocados, cilantro, pomegranate seeds,
1 can of black beans, and salt/pepper to taste. Easy, pretty and yummy!
Rea loves facetiming with her darling cousin Lydi, the only
one she hasn’t yet met! She is counting down to meet her! ^^
Fall leaves and Sunday outfits ^^
Snoozing and smiling on her flights ^^
She’s learning to be so flexible and chill while traveling!
Cutest little flyer on the way to Chicago ^^
This homemade granola from Abigail is my obsession x 10. See her recipe here!
Stroller brigade walks with neighborhood friends ^^
^^ Fall picnic in the park with our church!
Love you always, October! You never let us down.
We’re currently spending this last week of the month
back east in Virginia, so it’s ending on a high note.
Lots on the way from VA!
