June 2018 recap

June 2018 recap

June was packed and busy in the Bay before leaving to Utah for part of July!
It started with celebrating our 6th anniversary, getting a new car for our growing
family, putting in our first offer on a home out here in the Bay, starting swim lessons
for Reagan, watching lots of Warriors playoff games, ballet classes, and surviving 8 days with
Chase away on business in NYC — where he went to the Tony Awards for work!! We had
plenty of park dates and potlucks with friends, swam lots, did the Stanford fountains and
our farmers market, had inspections and lots of work at our apartments that I manage, then
got to have Chase’s family in town for his mom’s 60th birthday! So fun to have them visit
and adventure in the city. We packed the last week of June full with concerts, parties, a doctor
checkup for baby, a Great America theme park day that Google put on, a musical in the city,
then we were off to Utah for more fun and craziness! What a fun and perfect start to the summer.
Matching peachy fam! ^^
One of our last months as a fam of 3!
Mini trolley girl in SF! ^^
Anniversary date night at Alexander’s!
Happy little girl ^^
Finally tried the famed Salt & Straw which came to SF from Portland,
and lived up to all of the hype for us! Especially on a sunny June day in SF ^^
My bike rides with the bump + babe on the back,
and Chase’s rides across the bridge ^^
Lots of open houses lately, and our new car for our anniversary!
Both these things make it feel more real that soon we’ll have two!
City chick, running the sidewalk! ^^
Delfina date ^^
Cuddling with her baby sister bump, and drinking her favorite sparking water :) Called “spicy wawa”
Dish dates + outings with my girlfriend ^^
Blowing kisses! ^^
It will be hard to ever top this “flamingle” themed swim party!
Best food and setting and company…only downer is that it was a going-away for some of our favorite friends!
Hamming it up ^^
Weekly Shoreline walk + Chase’s MoBro bike group ^^ I’m itching to get back on the bike so badly!
Library story time star student, always on the front row ha!
And love the way she wakes up slowly and hangs out in her bed for a bit these days ^^
Swimming dates now that it’s hot hot hot! (Well, still Bay Area hot which is not so bad..but swimming helps!)
Berry picking at Webb Ranch, where the horses were the main draw to this little one ^^
Chase casually at the Tony Awards in NYC!
His team at Google partnered with them, and he had tickets.
I opted out since we had just spent a week in the Big Apple this spring
and I wasn’t feeling it at 32 weeks pregnant, but he took his cute mom who
also had a big birthday this month — so it was perfect! So fun to see glimpses of it.
Red carpet cuties!
How cute is this mother-son duo?
They had the best weekend and saw Beautiful and Come From Away too!
Shopping and eating all the best in NYC. I loved getting all the pics
and knowing all the fun they were having while I relaxed on the couch :)
Chase also had to be in Boston this month, loved these pretty scenes he sent from his run one morning!
He brought back the best gifts which more than made up for his time away…
this cute book, and matching outfits for our baby girls!
The MoTab in Mountain View, and these darling LDS children’s books we just got here!
Thai takeout + grape nuts and fruit, my FAVORITE.
Family Friday night date at Nick the Greek before leaving town – SOO good! (Reagan agreed :)
Good packages full of new things to try (has anyone heard of these Billie razors for women?!
I’ve had a few friends rave, so I’m excited to try — and always love a stop into Britex fabrics ^^
Meal delivery trial from TableRunner this month, which was so nice after
our staycation in SF with Chase’s family. Our fridge was empty and I came
home to a box of goodness on the doorstep! I love cooking my own stuff
but sometimes these are so nice – especially during the busy summer.
We loved the Swedish meatball meal the most, still dreaming about it!
Fisherman’s wharf and accidentally matching each other! ^^
First official trolley ride in SF made for a happy girl ^^
City strolls ^^
Celebrated Chase on Father’s Day before meeting up with his family for their fun visit!
Reagan is not even 2 but she went up with all of the older primary kids at church
to sing the Dada song on Father’s Day hah. It’s because I teach primary and she comes
with me, so she has heard all of the practicing and totally knew the song! It was the best.
Then she passed out after her performance in the car on the way up to SF ^^
Favorite SF streets ^^ Prettiest city in the USA!
Little outing where we passed our very first apartment building in the Bay! ^^
Healthy “ice cream” freeze at Pressed Juicery = happiest gal haha ^^
More good mail days, getting ready for baby 2! Who knew they made nursing sports bras,
and cute ones at that? I think I’ll be living in this when baby comes. Found it here at
this cute Love & Fit, which makes activewear for moms!
Farmers market dates getting a balloon, and hanging with our baby James friend ^^
More farmers market happiness…this baked potato was the greatest to a pregnant gal! ^^
Buddha bowls at home (the BEST) and some banana date muffin tops ^^
We hosted Reagan’s play group at our place while Chase was out of town, and
it was a party as always! Can’t handle these four sweeties together ^^
Color sorting + Reagan showing off to her friends, going down the slide belly first!
Walks to the park + tubby time ^^
Just modeling her new clothes! ^^
Fountain dates with cute friends! ^^ Stanford is the best for letting people swim
in their fountains — perfect kiddie pool with fun splashing fountains!
More swim dates with other besties ^^
Celebrating our cute little friend Lyla’s birthday at the park!
Nothing better than a park potluck with friends…always the best food!
And this is a white chocolate pecan bread I’ve been making after
my friend told me about this combo — so so yum!
It’s this recipe I make all the time, but with white chocolate and pecans mixed in!
Bikes to church + French Open tennis watching! ^^
Best car snooze in our friend’s Tesla (probably because the ride was so smooth ha!)
and hangs with the Yoders — Reagan is in love with her little baby friend Willa! ^^
We drove up to the East Bay to visit our cute friends who we used to live by!
Dreamiest home of my friend Tara! ^^
And girls lunch while the kiddos played in the cutest backyard ^^

Best mail day to get our yearbook in the mail! These are always so much
work but so so worth it. Only took me until June this year to get it done :)
But it was my first time doing Artifact Uprising and it turned out pretty!
More fountain fun and walking the hills! ^^
Matching meal time + favorite time of day when the mailman comes during lunch! ^^
Dream home walks + fam dinner dates at Sweetgreen ^^
One of our very favorite places! ^^
Best shopping buddy, from the mall to Target!
This salad is my absolute obsession lately…I add a little balsamic dressing with the red wine vinegar
and have it a few times a week. Also had a craving for this Trader Joe’s easy yellow Thai coconut
curry with all the veggies, and it hit the spot (although it was a hot summer day).
Growth spurt girl sleeping in way later than normal,
and funniest nursery rope they all hold on to ^^
Flourless banana bread + dinners at Google when Chase was working late ^^
^^ Happy to be reunited with Dad
Breakfast is my fave meal of the day! Always have to make something different and yummy.
Views from Chase’s rides ^^
Sunday dinner with our little family is the best, although we miss big family dinners in Utah!
My homemade hummus that didn’t blend all the way (ha) vs. way better Traders hummus ^^
SF strolling ^^
Pancakes and acai mornings at home!
Another favorite summer salad from using up things in my kitchen before leaving town ^^
Kale, peaches, feta, avocado, balsamic dressing.
Grand America Day – Google rented out the entire theme park (AND all the food) for Chase’s org! Love this face ^^ Sister in laws and Shel on her birthday trip in SF! ^^
Sausalito views!
Father’s Day brunch with the Rigbys in town!
Diva shopper babe ^^
Selfies with dad on Princess Lane!
Fun city night to see School of Rock in SF! It’s not too different from the movie but
was still fun to see, and amazing that the kids in it actually play the instruments!
Stocking up on more clothes for Rea and baby sis! These are from the French brand Orchestra.
And, off to Utah we go!
One of her last free flights under 2!
Walking in our old neighborhood, reminiscing!
XO to June!
