Virginia countryside

Virginia countryside

Our Virginia trip included Richmond, Lynchburg, Charlottesville,
Fredericksburg, and a lot of countryside as we drove this loop.
It was a beautiful time of year to do this drive, and we scraped
the edge of the Blue Ridge Parkway near Shenandoah which
we need to return and fully do some year. Here are some photos
of our drive, the charming towns, and a fall orchard stop. We did stop off at a nice restaurant Roanoke as well but I don’t have any pics of that.

img_5857Our incentive to get to DC quickly was knowing that our favorite Potbelly Sandwich
Shop would be there for us! It made Chase drive faster knowing we had it waiting :)
virginia-countryside7I love their simple toasted turkey swiss, but I really come
for the oreo shake + oatmeal chocolate chip cookie.
Those cookies are something special!
