1,000 steps beach

despite visiting laguna all of my life, somehow i’d never seen 1000 steps beach!
we were told about it this time and we wanted to be sure to stop by during our
visit last weekend. we are so glad we did! a bit south of town, you can find the top
of the steps right off the PCH. find a parking spot and make your way down the
pretty stairway. (don’t worry, there are only around 200 steps despite the name :)

you’ll find yourself on a private stretch of beach with views so
beautiful they will take your breath away. it’s a special spot in laguna!

after all those stairs, it was time for some of socal’s best acai bowls
in laguna niguel. bowl of heaven has a few locations near laguna and
varied menu options — the northshore and sunset bowls were our faves!
  i loved that they had wheatgrass shots and couldn’t
resist one while deciding and ordering our bowls ^^
there are lots of health food items to stock up on here!

you can find bowl of heaven in laguna niguel, newport beach and
many other areas throughout southern california.

nothing like a morning filled with a hike, gorgeous new views, and acai bowls!
