Visiting the Hammels in LA!

Fun to go down to Southern California a few days before my family trip to Newport, and stop in LA to see some of our best friends who moved down here earlier this year. We are so sad they don’t live down the street anymore, but it was the best to see them in their new beautiful home and catch up! Nothing better. They had just moved in and renovations were finishing up, but they insisted we stay so that we could hang once the kids were asleep. They are those kind of friends! We had the best time together. Loved our afternoon at the lighthouse, had good food, all 3 of our blonde kiddos playing and giggling together, (+1 more on the way for Tam!) ordering yummy pizza and chatting late into the night after the kids went to bed, seeing their beautiful new home and renovations, walking along their ocean path in the morning and having pancake breakfast together… just the best connecting with these friends we miss!

We also stayed in Long Beach for a night as we made our way down to Newport. It was a fun bonus beginning to a week at the beach with family! Can’t wait to visit our Hammel pals often…especially with Chase’s company opening a new office in Orange County! Plenty of extra reason to come this way often :)
