Gilroy Gardens!

I’ve known of Gilroy Gardens as we’ve been living in the Bay, but was waiting to visit until
Reagan was old enough to enjoy it! I pictured it as a huge theme park in the middle of nowhere
in Gilroy, but it turns out it’s the cutest, most unique theme park in a gorgeous green hilly area.
Surrounded by all of the wineries and hills on the way to the coast, it is so stunning even just from
the setting! The rides were all small, darling, and so perfect for little Reagan’s toddler age. No major
crazy roller coasters, but plenty of creative and unique little rides, swan boats, carousels, a train ride
through the tall trees, a ferris wheel, a greenhouse with a Monarch butterfly garden, and more. They
just redid their entire water park and it’s so fun even though we didn’t last long enough for it this time.
It’s big but not too overwhelming, and we had a relaxing fun day here with friends! (Reagan’s little bestie
Kate and her parents Liz and Matt). It made it so fun to see these little cuties running around together!
Prettiest entry into this place ^^
^^ Excited for the day!
Happy to be out of the car and at the park! It’s about an hour south from us..but was worth the drive!
Cutest little boat rider ^^ she was so excited for this part!
We were lucky to have perfect weather on this springy day!
Pink race car driver ^^
Riding in a strawberry! All day she kept telling us how she rode in a strawberry :)
She also rode in a goldfish, which was a little bit scarier and since she was alone she was
yelling “I want to get out!!!” the whole ride -haha! Meanwhile her friend Kate was just
smiling in front of her. Once Reagan was out she was like “I did the scary goldfish ride!” Ha
Riding the carousel with Kate after! ^^
Cute themed rides that are perfect for Gilroy- famous for its garlic + artichoke!
Candy shop and butterfly garden — Reagan loved both!
Boat riding next to our cute friends the Palmers! ^^
They are about to have their second baby girl any day, which we are so excited
about since we’re having a baby girl in a few months so we’ll have double sets of besties!
Prettiest train ride through the trees and park!
^^ Can you tell she was starting to get tired by this point, haha little sweetheart
Reagan and Chase won a carnival game and got a little stuffed dog :) So cute ^^
^^ A few rounds on the carousel :)
Love our time as a family of three!

My little guy is 1 and we’ve done Happy Hollow in San Jose, but never Gilroy Gardens. It looks so fun! Should we wait another year before checking out Gilroy Gardens?
