Easter felt even more special this year having just been in Israel touring the Holy Land
and standing at the sights of the resurrection. It became so real to us and although I already
liked this holiday, it’s moving up and up. Reagan being old enough to do some little Easter egg
hunts also added to the fun. We had a full week of activities leading up to Easter, and then Reagan
and I flew out that night on a red eye to meet my family for a week in the Outer Banks. I’m so glad
we got to be with Chase for Easter and enjoy our church’s General Conference which fell on the holiday.
(This was one of my favorite talks from it, especially after just being where Christ was)
Love my little Easter girl. Here are the fun things from the week leading up!
Since we had General Conference on actual Easter, our ward did an Easter Program the
week before on Palm Sunday. It was so special and even more so because Chase was one
of the speakers! He talked about our recent experience in Israel and did an amazing job.
He is such a good speaker and I loved listening to him – along with the other speakers
and music in the program. I was teary all throughout! Such a good start to the week.
Our cute friends Taryn & Saylor had us over to pet their baby chicks which was so cute & fun.
Reagan’s little bay bestie Kate also had her birthday party a few days before Easter, so
the party was a cute Easter egg hunt and so fun! Good practice for the ones later in the week :)
^^ Easter playdate at the park with friends and the cutest festive treats
^^ Very happy about her basket finds .. and even more when she saw what was in them ha!
Park playing after the hunt :) ^^
Final Easter outing, wearing her Easter outfit again!
Her face when I told her to say cheeeeese ^^
Los Altos Easter Egg Hunt and cute little festival ^^
Love our little Easter chick and grateful for our Savior and what He did for us.
So grateful every day that because of Him our family can be together always!
