Our last night in Nice!

Our last night in Nice!

Even though we flew in and out of it, we didn’t end up getting as much time as we wanted in Nice
because of some a travel mishap with our rental car breaking down the second to last day.
Luckily I had been before in college on my study abroad, but I still wanted Chase and my
parents to see more of it — so we went adventuring late at night our final night, and early
the next morning before our plane took off. We mainly just had time for dinner, wandering
and ice cream late at night, and then a quick walk along the beach and up the mountain lookout
before heading straight to the airport. It was too quick but still fun to get a taste of Nice again!
Two of my favorite sights in Nice at the end of the beach…
the stunning Monument Aux Morts de Rauba-Capeu carved into the
backside of a mountain, and the Ascenseur le Chateau walk up the the lookout.
Pretty town square!
And wandering around the night before…
Dinner in a charming little alleyway!
Picking out her last (well only :) gelato of the trip ^^
Sharing with dada, and falling asleep while eating ice cream because she was so tired :)
Cheers to a fun, dreamy, crazy, exhausting trip!
And flying out the next morning …
Reagan’s face when she realized we were going on long flights again- hah ^^
Lots of sticker book and playing on the way home ^^
And about 50 laps around the plane before she f i n a l l y zonked out ^^
Bye, Nice!
Hi, NYC!
And finally…home to SFO.

  • Looks like such a fun trip – lovely to go with your parents I am sure. Could you do a recap of all your best trips for flying with little ones? I am sure you must be a pro by now! Gill x

      • Well you look like a pro to me!! Our daughter will be 9 months when we travel to Bali (from Australia so a short trip) and 16 months when we go home to Ireland. That is the one I am already gearing up for – 17 hrs from Perth to London alone! Any advice, tips welcome. xx
