Utah Fall visit

October wouldn’t feel complete without a stop through Utah!
Reagan and I came for a little over a week to get our fill of family,
fall, friends, and football before we head off to France to meet Chase
with my parents! As we take off my phone is full of pictures of fall leaves,
my belly is full of Cafe Rio + Dodo + Citris + homemade meals, baby girl is
full of giggles from playing with cousins, and our hearts are full from visiting home!
Here are some pictures of our stay – it’s always a whirlwind, but in the best way.

FALL in Utah WINS!
I biked Millcreek Canyon a few times and could not get over the colors.
Same thing hiking Neff’s! I had to stop every few feet to take it all in.
Cutest airport pickup from my parents!
Dinner with cousins Tagg & Lydia the first night – high 5’s for being reuinted!
We had a fall lunch at my mom’s house and gathered some SLC friends…
and a few California friends who have moved home to Utah!
Yay for best friends and baby friends!
And cousins/sis in laws ^^
Cobb salad + pesto sundried tomato bread ^^
I can’t believe my friend Ash is pregnant with TWIN girls due soon…and looks so good!
And my Bay babes Syd and Rachel who have moved to Utah and I miss so much!
Luckily I get to see them when I come home :)
Quick zoo morning one day with Linny ^^
Homemade pizza night at my parents ^^
I got to go up and visit some of our besties the Woods and new baby George! ^^
And always love getting these 3 little girls together – hoping
they will all be Skyline Eagles like their moms one day ;) ^^
Gardner Village witch’s village with mom! So cute.
So fun to go to the Utah vs. Stanford game back at Rice-Eccles for Homecoming! (Despite the loss)
Nothing like being back at Rice-Eccles!
It was so fun to get to ride bikes with my parents now that we’re into it.
My mom and I rode 50 miles down to my dad’s office in Provo and it was so fun!
My dad watched Reagan while my mom and I rode, and I laughed at them playing
basketball on the court, and the fancy way he arranged her breakfast — haha!
We took some sneak peek Christmas card pictures with the grandkids on Chase’s side
in their matching jammies! We had to do it now since we won’t be home until then!
A little taste of Christmas in October thanks to Shelley! ^^
Utah sunsets ^^
Fun night with the Poulson side doing a recipe night!
Little Rea’s picture smile here kills me :) :)
Rea and Lettie, little look-alikes!
Trying out the new poke bowl spot in Salt Lake! ^^
And always an excuse to make cookies here ^^
I got my hair cut for the first time in 1.5 years haha…I am the
laziest about hair! But it helps when your bestie does it.
Ash just gave me a trim and curled in which is more than
I’ve done to it forever. Felt so good and loved time with her!
Citris dates and playing at home with Yaya! ^^
Playing in my mom’s play room and having her first homemade roll made by Linny! ^^
Mini pumpkin zucchini bundts + homemade carrot ginger soup ^^
Fun to cook so much with my mom when I come home!
Bacon & gruyere quiche + allll the roasted veggies ^^
I got to take my darling gram out for a birthday dinner at our favorite Dodo!
Homemade pies for days for a little gathering! We were testing some for Thanksgiving,
and the clear winner for me was apple cranberry. Also loved salted caramel apple.
I’ll post the apple cranberry recipe ^^ It was heavenly!
Always love time with our Amanda!
^^ Reagan loved hanging out at Tagg & Lydi’s house!
^^ Selfie with our newest little nephew Bennett…the sweetest!
Cutest 3 books from Chase’s parents, for the next 3 holidays! Rea loved seeing Mimi & Papa ^^
I went to a girls volleyball game at my old high school Skyline because I had a friend coaching
and knew a girl playing. It was so nostalgic to be back in that gym where I spent many hours :)
Rigby cousin time at the pumpkin patch!
We went to Cross E Ranch which I’d never heard of, but it’s darling
and wasn’t crowded like some of the others in Utah. So fun!
Swimming in a big pool of corn kernals! ^^
Love getting time with these sis in laws + all the kiddos!
Wagon rides with cousins!!
Posing as a piggie and then looking at the real ones!
So thrilled about this slide with cousins haha ^^

And one last hike up Neff’s to soak up those colors…
Love you, Utah! Now to France we go…just a little exhausted from this visit already,
hope we have the energy for these flights with baby…eeek!
