Allied Arts Guild, Palo Alto

We discovered another Bay Area hidden gem in Palo Alto last week —
The Allied Arts Guild! My friend Liz has told me about it, and finally
we stopped by. It blew me away! It’s a gorgeous garden tucked away
in a neighborhood in Palo Alto, and you’d never know it was there.
It’s free to wander through and not very big, but so peaceful and
beautiful. There is a rose garden, lunch café, fountains, little shops,
and just pretty grounds to wander. It’s an inspiring place to visit, and
supports Lucille Packard Children’t hospital. My friend Sarah and I explored
it for a bit after walking the Dish, so I’m sure we’ll be back and take way
better pictures… but I had to share some from my phone! Go visit asap!
^^ Flower names in rose gardens are always my favorite.

Some parts feel like Italy, and some like Spain/Mexico with these pretty buildings!
I loved this peaceful place, and it will definitely be a frequent stop for us from now on!

So fun to see these pictures! My Auntie volunteered there for many years and my cousin Jennifer’s name, she was born brain injured, is on one of those bricks. We used to go to the tea room when I was a little girl and have lunch and I thought it was just so glamorous. I’d kind of forgotten about how lovely it was. Little Reagan looks darling toddling through the gardens.
