Can you believe we had never been to the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art
until this past week?! To be fair, it was closed for construction a few years ago when
we lived right in the city… but since it completed we had still never made it happen.
We decided to change that and finally visit! It was baby’s day out at the SFMOMA,
and we all really loved it. It’s such a beautiful museum and so well done, with a
good balance of modern classics that were ahead of their time, and interesting new
pieces of art. I loved seeing the Matisse most, Andy Warhol, etc etc. And seriously,
baby Reagan had the time of her life crawling all around, clapping, looking at art,
and charming everyone there. You wouldn’t think a museum is a very baby-friendly
place, but it was for us and we had the best time! A few photos from our visit..
Since the museum is right downtown, we walked over to get a quick
dinner after at MIXT Yerba Buena! It’s kind of a combo between Sweetgreen
and Tender Greens, two places that we love …so of course we were fans!
Amazing salads, grain bowls, and market plates.
Loved the Steelhead and Bachelor salad!
Their side dishes were probably our favorite part.
^^ Ha, loved this sign ^^ So true.
Baby loved her kids plate as you can see! ^^
Good art — good food — good day!
