Clean cookies with almond butter


these clean almond butter cookies are perfect for the times you need to satisfy your sweet tooth
(AKA daily for me) but want to keep things healthier. they make for a good cleaner treat! you
could use peanut butter, but i love the uniqueness of the almond butter — plus it’s healthier!
i’m picky about my almond butter because i think it can taste so different depending on brand.
i like to cook with this pb&co almond butter. costco has a good one too!
Clean eating almond butter cookies

1 cup almond butter
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 cup honey or pure maple syrup
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt

3 cups mix-ins of choice: dark chocolate chips, cacao nibs, unsweetened coconut, pecans, pumpkin seeds, dried cranberries, etc. I usually chop up a little bit of dark chocolate chips and some coconut to go inside because the rest of the cookie is pretty clean so some chocolate never hurts :) If you don’t want any added sugar, go for dried cranberries and pecans.

Combine all ingredients and mix. Drop onto greased pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Enjoy!!
