a week in laguna beach {part one}

happy monday!
it’s been a little quiet on the blog, because
we just got back from a dreamy vacation to laguna beach..
how lucky we were to spend a week in one of our favorite places with family!
last summer, {see here} it was so fun to come back again this week with my family.
it has always been a favorite place of ours, and somewhere we return to every year!
we soaked up some sun, ran on the beach, played tennis, ate at favorite restaurants,
swam, hot tubbed, went to a baseball game, and mostly spent time with family
in such a fun + amazing beach house my parents rented. there is nothing better!
we’re sad to be home, but feeling ready for the week after so much relaxation
and family time. here are some pictures, more to come soon!
so good to have the whole family together!
our a m a z i n g beach house..thanks parents
best views from the house, plus a hot tub overlooking the ocean!
yummy dinners out with these cute parents..
{is it obvious that we love salmon?}
my parents are the cutest grandparents in the world to the
cutest niece + nephew..am i biased???
a giant pizookie from BJ’s pizza. pure happiness.
i ate probably 1/4 of this myself.
shopping in town with mom!
burgers on the balcony overlooking the beach
my cute dad and i after dinner at bandera, one of our favorites!
 strolling around town
“living the good life”
two of ten froyos i had on this trip :)
cute mama
golfing parents
 my cute cali boy going for an early morning ocean dip
beachin’ it with the cutest niece!
we love you, laguna!
more pictures + a video coming soon!

    Looks like you had so much fun. It makes me miss southern California (I grew up in San Diego) and the beach. And I understand the missing home but not wanting to go back at the same time. I just got home a week ago from spending 4 1/2 days in Boston and felt there was still so much more to do and see. Thanks for sharing your pictures. You should stop over and check out mine from Boston.

    Happy Blogging,

    We are always looking for new vacation places. Laguna looks nice!

    So sweet of your parents to rent that home so everyone could stay together. That house looks amazing!

      oh my goodness, you would LOVE laguna! you should definitely put it on your list. it’s one of my favorite places ever. i will have to do a little guide to it! we were so spoiled to get to stay in that fun house, but it was worth it- family time is the best..especially since we live away from them! Oh it looks like it was so fantastic!! And seriously – hot tub overlooking the beach? That is incredible. Oh, and I’m totally obsessed with salmon. We had some for dinner the other night and I’m still drooling over how good it was.

    Wow…can I go there right now?! What a great vacation! I look forward to my next vacation, hopefully sometime in July-August….where I’ll definitely be beach bound.
