wedding pictures part three: pre-reception

pictures of the details & decor of our reception..
along with wedding party & family photos
this fireplace display was probably my favorite part of our decor..
i had the vision of it in my head, and after many attempts it finally came together to be perfect!
we loved our vintage getaway car…it was parked in the driveway
during the reception & later provided the perfect exit.
our darling wedding party!

entrance details
advice, notes, & well-wishes people wrote to us
the cutest groom

i saw this quote years ago and knew right then that i wanted it at the
entrance to my wedding. love was in the air!
display of our wedding china…my cute grandma bought us all of these
dishes off our registry, making them even more special!
bridesmaid outfits
groomsmen outfits
bridesmaid pictures
driving the golf cart shuttle
our wedding date sewn into chase’s tie…
our perfect cake!
Rigby Family
Dunn family…missing Mindy and brand new baby Taggart!
cute parents who threw the best reception
love you whit!
our perfect menu of all our favorite things
{crepes, macaroons, and cake were outside!}
the indoor buffet
the outdoor buffet
lemonade stand + striped straws
little ones
we made unique table numbers with facts about us
our vintage getaway car and the added a fun touch
{meet the maids}
we used 8 different vintage shutters throughout the yard to display things like our proposal story,
our love story, our college experience, our san francisco things since we’re moving there, two bridesmaid and
groomsmen “meet the maids” and “meet the men” boards, and a “long line of love” board with pictures of our parents
and grandparents on their wedding day, etc. it was fun to have such personal things all around the yard.
we love magelby’s famous chocolate cake
and we were so excited to have it
as a dessert at our wedding!
it was served along with crepes,
macaroons, and wedding cake.
i am a french girl at heart and have always wanted crepes at my wedding…
so naturally they were our favorite part! our guests said they LOVED
these crepes, and luckily our caterer sent us with a few boxes of
them so we could enjoy them later!

we loved having the reception at my house and in the
made it so personal and unique to us! these pictures
in this post highlight some of our favorite details..i also
was so happy with how our bridesmaids and groomsmen
attire turned out! it was all perfect to us.
one more post coming of the actual reception!

That car was perfect for your wedding! Vintage cars never get old for wedding days. I think that your wedding getaway car should fit whatever the color motif of the wedding is. Congratulations to you guys! Great photos!

We held an event here in evening, and I have to say, it was fantastic. The sweeping views were incomparable and the atmosphere was just right.
