wedding pictures part three: pre-reception

wedding pictures part three: pre-reception
pictures of the details & decor of our reception..
along with wedding party & family photos.. i’m so glad we took all of these photos because they give us something to look back on.. we took a lot of photos ourselves but with a photographer like Jeff Turnbull Wedding Photographer you can get even better pictures that you’ll cherish forever!
this fireplace display was probably my favorite part of our decor..
i had the vision of it in my head, and after many attempts it finally came together to be perfect!
we loved our vintage getaway car…it was parked in the driveway
during the reception & later provided the perfect exit.
our darling wedding party! This photo, along with the one above, are my favourites. I think they represent the day so well and it’s so nice to have some professional shots of us together. I think I’m going to get the car photo mounted so we can have it on display in our home. A friend told me that I could use any image and get it turned into acrylic wall art at Bumblejax so I think that’s what I’m going to do. We’re unsure where we want to put it yet, I’m thinking the home office but hubby wants it on display in the dining room. I guess we’ll just have to see when it arrives…

the cutest groom

i saw this quote years ago and knew right then that i wanted it at the
entrance to my wedding. love was in the air!
display of our wedding china…my cute grandma bought us all of these
dishes off our registry, making them even more special! along with the pictures of the entrance, the pictures of our gifts, as well as us and our bridesmaids and groomsmen, i’d say the company we used that’s similar to this wedding photography Charlottesville company (i chose these as an example due to them being within my potential list!) certainly captured our special day for us to remember for years to come!

we used 8 different vintage shutters throughout the yard to display things like our proposal story,
our love story, our college experience, our san francisco things since we’re moving there, two bridesmaid and
groomsmen “meet the maids” and “meet the men” boards, and a “long line of love” board with pictures of our parents
and grandparents on their wedding day, etc. it was fun to have such personal things all around the yard.
we love magelby’s famous chocolate cake
and we were so excited to have it
as a dessert at our wedding!
it was served along with crepes,
macaroons, and wedding cake.
i am a french girl at heart and have always wanted crepes at my wedding…
so naturally they were our favorite part! our guests said they LOVED
these crepes, and luckily our caterer sent us with a few boxes of
them so we could enjoy them later!

made it so personal and unique to us! these pictures
